Do the laundry. Do the dishes. Spring clean anything else. I don’t wanna sweep, mop or dust. Anything.

I want to go to the fabric store and get more patchwork fabric.

I want to go thrifting.

I want to find my blasted keys!!!

Pfew. Twenty minutes later. Found them.

Vintage ABC Book

Look what I found, look what I found! A 1940’s ABC book for the kids.

Green

A cute green pressed glass bowl. Now… where should it go?

Cake Tin

And a vintage cake tin.

Vintage Canisters

To match these that my mom got me for my birthday last year.

Who doesn\'t need one of these?

Oh, and I almost forgot this beauty!  A Texas belt buckle.  Oh ya baby!

Glad I found my keys!

I can’t believe your finds…that book! What kind of thrift stores do you have?

These are all great. I’m so glad you found your keys.

How cool is it that your mom gave you those vintage cannisters for your birthday?!!

Oh I found most of that at Goodwill. It really is hit or miss though, you have to sort through the junk to find the treasure. And that takes time. Plus I usually have both kids with me so you know how that goes!

The tin canisters are the best. I told my mom that I wanted something thrifted. That was my one request. I think I’m going to continue those suggestions!

Misty, you are welcome anytime! I always need an excuse to go!

You know I also find new stuff, but don’t consider it ‘blog worthy’. Like I found a brand new little kids t-ball glove for Keegan. Some Patagonia shorts for Makena and some Melissa and Doug (brand new in the box) necklace bead set.

Miles is very excited about the belt buckle and can’t wait to wear it with his chucks!

I came to visit your page at the urging of my friend Misty. I was not dissapointed. I was astounded to find a kindered tin collector. I have those same vintage coffe, sugar, flour tins. I am so jealous of the cake tin! I never even knew they made one.
