Not to lose the feeling of what my blog is about, and what our real world consists of, I’m going to mix some homespun goodness into the Disney posts. This is not a Disney blog after all. Hehehehe….

Today it’s hot out and I’m running a fever with no symptoms other than my body aching all over. What’s that about? You can’t have a fever when it’s 99 degrees outside.

The only way to stay cool in Central Texas during the summer is to stay in the water.

Any ideas how to keep a Golden Retriever puppy out of the kiddie pool?

Hey, we stay in the water around here too! I hope you feel better soon. Just get some rest. I have no advice on the dog – ours doesn’t go in the pool, but he was trained by the older dog who never had any interest in the pool. Lucky us!

nope. Our golden is 10 years old and jumps in every chance she can get. AS my husband would say, ‘good luck with that.’ xo

Yes, it seems unfair to have a fever in the heat – I hope you feel better soon. I think the dog is going to stay in the pool all summer, might as well get him some swimming trunks.

Awww, that’s the cutest thing! Reminds me of when our Corgi was a puppy and spent the entire summer “swimming” with the kids. Good luck! I had to go to the little hard sided pools. I got tired of patching holes!!! Never could keep her out of it unless I squirted her with the hose and I felt bad when I did it.
