Do you ever see something and say to yourself I have to have that. Now! Today I had such an experience while I was perusing the blogs over my morning coffee. So there I was, going down my list of must read blogs when I came across this blog. And low and behold Erin, and Tracy, made camera straps for their cameras.  After seeing this a few places I had to make one. What a great idea and beautiful accessory.

Favorite Fabric

I pulled out my favorite fabric and went to work. I am so not good with directions, no comment from the real life peanut gallery, or instructions for that matter so I found this to be pretty easy. No directions, no problem. You give me a pattern and I’ll fight with it for hours.

Camera Strap

One puncture wound from the seam ripper and one broken sewing machine needle later… voila! A pretty strap for my camera. Perfect for our trip to San Antonio tomorrow! I’ll be traveling for the rest of the week but hope to pop in and bring you along on the journey. Vamanos!

I wanted to do that as well … I found this tutorial on how to make a camera bag … only the camera was smaller than mine so math was required to alter it. Forget about it. Like you, I can barely follow directions and I certainly can’t add or subtract properly!

Erin, I think I used fusable fleece. Probably not the right thing but the only thing I had! I make do wherever I can since there is no sewing store nearby. :)

Ooohhh! I just found your blog and I am loving that camera strap. Orange is my favorite color and my hubby just bought me a new camera. I think it needs some love…and that is the perfect solution! Thank you for sharing. Now, I need to go dig through my fabric stash for just the right fabric.

Arrgh!!!! Saw the Disney photos and recognized that “snappy” pirate t-shirt. We met an amazing couple with the cutest little girl from Texas while on vaca in the infamous Key West. We think of you guys often and hope to hear from you soon.
    Lots of love !!!!

That strap is fabulous, I love it! If I had a sewing machine, I’ll make one as well… (hmm, next time I go to my mum…). I had a lot to catch up after 3 weeks away, You’ve been so busy! Your clutter challenge is a great idea and I love the ,lanterns in Makena’s bedroom. I hope you are having a nice trip.
