Croquet

Both of my kids long to live on a farm. Makena likes to sprinkle sand from the sandbox like she’s feeding the chickens. Keegan spends most days on his rocking horse yelling ‘yee-haw.’ So when the opportunity presented itself to spend a weekend on a farm, they couldn’t have been more excited.

Peeking

There were animals to watch.

Pushing

Tractors to ride.

Stars to gaze.

Croquet to be played.

And swimming. Lot’s of swimming.

Ahhh fleeting summertime.

OH, that’s so cute. Grace used to always pretend to feed the chickens with sand or sawdust – whatever she could get her hands on. And we went through a serious Little House on the Prairie phase (tv series.) We even had a Little House birthday party for Grace.
    Great pictures, Jade.

Fun fun fun! One of the reasons my little ones love going to Grandma and Grandpa’s becasue of the cows across the street. Grandpa’s got a corquet set too… Enjoy these last few days! School, for us, starts two weeks from yesterday.
