I fell in love with Orla Kiely at a playdate in central Austin.  No, Orla wasn’t there, but her signature handbag was.  I noticed her when she entered the room.  Toting all of the necessary supplies to keep toddlers at bay.  I made my way around the room to compliment this new beauty.  Then I did the not so casual stroll around said bag to try and read the name on it.  I had to have this bag.  It read Orla Kiely.  Orla who?

Having never heard of her I quickly googled her when I got home and found out that she is a designer.  A well known designer in fact.  New on the playdate scene in Austin however.  This mama just moved here from California and was hip to be square.  So hip, in fact, that Ms. Kiely did a hop, skip and a jump right out of my price range.

Well not anymore.  She’s at Target.  Not the handbag, but loads of other goodies just waiting to be snatched up by the Target clientele.  And right in my price range.  After debating the benefits of a laundry bag, shoe caddy and totes I found this oh so cute magazine holder for my desk.  At the low, low price of eight bucks.

It seems that the Orla Kiely collection seems to be trickling into Targets.  Rumor has it, the entire collection will arrive February 15th.   And who couldn’t use a few more things to get organized?

I’m waiting with bated breath. Going tomorrow to see what may have already arrived. I’m definitely getting a few of those magazine holders. I have a serious magazine organization issue.

Yet another reason to long for Target… The closest on is 2 hours away. Wonder how expensive the shipping on their website is. Hmmmmm…
