27 dresses

Posted in: crafting

Well where on earth have I been?  Craft Hope has got my attention now not so much on myself, but on other people that need help.  And to be honest, it’s a great feeling and I’m not so sure what will happen with chikaustin as Craft Hope continues to grow.  I would love for Craft Hope to grow to be a full time project.

27 dresses

Did you see the title above?  27 dresses.  Yes, we received 27 dresses/tops and four pair of shorts to send to the children at the Pan de Vida Shelter in Mexico.  I am overwhelmed with the amount of women who signed up to participate and even more overwhelmed by the response to join our cause for our next project.  What a blessing.

craft hope :: project 1

The dresses are now on their way to Mexico, packaged in true handmade mama style in a vintage Samsonite suitcase.

Thank you so much to all of you who participated in Craft Hope’s first project.  I am truly grateful for your friendship and willingness to help others.  Thank you.

    Well done you! And everyone who made items of course! This is one of the great things about the crafting world – people are always keen to help by doing something they love!

    I see my dresses peeking out of that beautiful stack and I’m so excited to have been a part of the effort! I look forward to project #2 and pray that you get some rest in the mean time! :)
