Oh goodness.  Where do I begin?  I feel like life is in such a flutter.  One huge wonderful flutter, kind of like my children.  With boundless energy and optimism.

I’ve got such wonderful news to share with you.  Well a couple of things actually.  Craft Hope Project 2 has launched!  Go on over, check it out, join our cause.  We’d love to have you!

mi familia

Also, we have big news in our family…  we are expecting baby #3!!!  I’m 16 weeks along and the baby is due at the beginning of October.  We are thrilled beyond belief and can’t wait to meet the newest member of our family.

I feel like this post is bittersweet because it’s the end of one era and the beginning of another.  On one hand, I feel chikaustin phasing out.  On the other, I feel Craft Hope just taking off. I’m excited beyond belief about Craft Hope and have been amazed by the difference we have made already.  I cannot wait to see where this goes and I’m honored to have you along for the ride!

I can’t type too much about this because, well, I’m pregnant and emotional.  I’ll turn into a sobbing mess just thinking about chikaustin and where we are now.  So, we’ll just leave it at that shall we?!?

The best place to follow me for now will be on the Craft Hope blog.  Please spread the word about Project 2.  Thanks to all of you and your wonderful blogs, we were able to connect with women around the globe and come together for our first project.

I would just like to close out this blog with…  you girls rock, keep doing what you do, you inspire me daily.  Can I get an amen?!?

xoxo

Jade

Wonderful wonderful wonderful news. I’m so glad for your family, that you’ll have a new special addition. I hope you are feeling well, and healthy.
Love and thoughts and sweet wishes to you. xxx
I will miss chikaustin, but I guess having kids changes us (each one changes us all over again, hey.. ), and you can’t be ms chikaustin forever. I think Craft Hope is a perfect way to carry on your bloggy-ness, while being able to contribute in a strong and powerful and so important way. (I’m going to try and join Project #2 – but things are so busy here, and I really know that doll making is totally not my forte).

    Look after yourself.
    Love xxx

Congratulations to all of you! It seems kind of silly, but we tossed the idea of another around for sometime…after our third was born I felt a total sense of completeness. She really made the family whole, we weren’t quite there without her.

I’m so behind on my blog reading — this is so exciting! I can’t get over how many people I know who are expecting later this year. One in late August (in Austin too), one in late September, YOU in early October, and another in November. How exciting! My birthday is October 1, so with luck, you’ll have an awesome libra baby. :)
