I'm thinking that margaritas and seam rippers/quick unpickers don't mix either! Call me biased but I'm thinking the Summer of Sewing should include Craft Hope. So how about a doll? :)

Super cute - what a great little model!

We have Summer's like that, too. Where you have to go to the park at 7am, and then scurry back inside to cool down until it's okay to leave the house again at 4pm!
But now, its cold and tipping into Winter (which in contrast to some places is quite mild; but for us is still cold!).
I'd love to join your Summer of sewing. Will we have weekly (monthly) projects list to follow. What fun!

I always think that using the seam ripper (we call it a quick unpick) is a good break form hunching over the sewing machine.

Margaritas and sewing just don't mix. Don't ask me how I know that.

It looks super super cute! You did a great job.

100 degrees seems so warm....we are lucky here if it gets to 75 for maybe 3 days over the summer and seems to hover between 58 and 65 the rest of the time. It's may and we haven't had temperatures much over 55 yet! We are being promised a dry summer and hopefully a warmish one - the last 2 having been wet and miserable - so I plan to be outdoors as much as possible, but when I am not I'll be checking in to see what you have made (the skirt is fabulous) and doing a little sewing of my own!

aw, *shucks*. That skirt turned out adorable, too.

(My seam ripper gets a lot of playtime. So much so that I have had to buy several because I wear them out. No lie.)
