Just as soon as I start complaining about the heat a thunderstorm rolls in bringing with it temperatures in the 60’s. Aaaahhh… such a relief for everyone and the dry Texas land. Also, rumor has it there was an earthquake in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. That’s Texas weather for ya. I’m sure a tsunami down at the coast will be following shortly. I kid. I kid.

bandana dress

This weekend I’m really excited travel to meet the newest addition to our family, my neice baby Amelia. I’m over the moon to get to meet her.

Amelia. Isn’t that a beautiful name?

I made her this bandana dress because it screams I’m from Texas!  And since her mama is a Texas girl, tried and true, she deserves a good ‘ole Texas gal dress.

Very cute. I too have branched out and made those dress from something other than pillowcases. I bet baby Amelia will look lovely in it.

    Hi,

I am looking for this exact dress for my 5 year old daughter. We are having a farm birthday for her and she would love this. I cannot sew or do anything like this and was wondering if I could hire you to create one? Will pay in advance of course.

    Sincerely,
    Carlo
