in stitches

Posted in: crafting

France, Destin, Scotland or bust!  I loved hearing about your upcoming trips.  And can’t wait to read about them when you return.  We don’t leave until the first week of August for Port Aransas so I still have some time to daydream about your travels.

in stitches

Is it really Friday already?  Not that I’m complaining by any means.  Today I’m barefoot and pregnant.  That’s how I roll these days.  This week I’ve been working on bedding for the baby’s room.  Oh how I love Amy Butler.  Here’s a little sneak peek of whats going into the nursery.

That entire line by Amy Butler makes my heart swoon.  I’m thinking about ordering some in the yellows to make new kitchen curtains.

I should have all of the baby’s bedding all finished this weekend with pictures to show you on Monday.

I hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing weekend.  See you on the other side.

I am incredibly jealous, in awe, and inspired! I am still taking sewing lessons, it’s just not coming quite so natural….yet I love it! You girl, have got it!!!

Oh, this makes my heart sing! So beautiful. I love the way that cutting a fabric into a different size makes it change the way you see it. Took me while to recognise that big flower. And I love seeing your hand in there.
Oh, embroidery. I love the way it makes me feel – doing it, touching it, looking at it.
    Thanks for the beautiful inspiration.
Can’t wait to see the finished results.
    Rest well.
