thanks y'all. you know, the bedroom (aside from the closets) was the last room in the house i really wanted to tackle. it was a MESS before. glad i was able to finally put to use some of the vintage things that have just been sitting around.

i am thinking that more naps are in order, especially before this little bundle of joy arrives!

One day at a time, girl. I don't know how you do it...but you are my inspiration. Remember to take care of yourself, though, or nobody will be happy (especailly the little pirate!). I'm thinking of you, and hoping you will go "easy" if you can...xoxox.

Oh, yeah. We have those conversations often, and they usually end (much to my dismay) with me saying, "Seriously?! You have to stop -- I can't even talk about that right now." Of course, this usually only buys about two minutes of quiet before we're back on the same topic. ;)

I see someone else commented about the importance of the bedroom sanctuary, so I'll just second it. Now you can breathe a sigh of relief every time you come through the door; how lovely! And you've completed something, which is always a good feeling, right?

I am always amazed at how far ahead kids look. Mine has her next 5 birthday party themes planned (I can't convince her that maybe her tastes will have changed between 4 and 9. She is very sure she wants a Sesame Street party for her 9th birthday. With Elmo cupcakes.)
Really though, it is amazing that you have carved out this place in your full life for Craft Hope. It is doing great things for so many. I love that when my daughter sees me making something from the fabric she picked out, her first question is "Is that for the babies in India?"
What an wonderful gift you have given to our family with this group of projects. Oh, I wanted to tell you we have put up a map of the world in our dining room and are putting pins in all of the places Craft Hope is helping people. My little one wants to put a pin in every country. Not a bad life goal, right?
