All of these nesting instincts that I’ve had for the past nine months have now moved into the blogosphere. At home I’ve sorted, cleaned out, organized, and purged. With the seasons changing and major life changes happening I felt like a little sprucing up was in order for the chikaustin site. So, welcome friends to the new site! Of course, it’s still a work in progress and I’ll be updating things as soon as I can.

I’ve been searching for a good diaper bag that doesn’t necessarily look like a diaper bag when I stumbled upon this bag from Brooklyn Industries. I love the design and style of the bag. It has huge pockets, and several of them to hold all of the baby goods. It’s not even a diaper bag, it’s a handbag. Can I get an amen for a non-diaper bag looking tote bag that can be used as a diaper bag?!?

I hope you all have a great weekend. Hopefully we’ll be spending it all cozied up inside while it pours down rain outside. The Craft Hope book is coming along beautifully and I’m really going to be using these last three weeks before Chloe comes to get all of my writing done. I did have a contraction tonight so let’s hope she holds out for a bit. No need to rush things. Oh yes, and the Craft Hope book will be in stores next August!

Your extreme blog makeover is to. die. for. I’m feeling some pressure now for yeebird to keep up with the Jones-es, or the Jades-es. Very pretty!

The bag is fantastic. I hated every “diaper bag” I saw. I usually just ended up using a Vera Bradley bag I got from my mother-in-law. As for the new look around here – I love it!

Now this is more like it! I think this is fresh and modern, not so diaper bag-looking. I may have to add this to my collection (ok, I’m obsessed), but not until next month since I just got a Zosephine, which I love!
