It’s raining in Austin! It seriously has not rained in about two years. The lake that we live near, Lake Travis, is about empty. Our cove where we spent previous summers floating and swimming is dry. All of the public boat ramps on Lake Travis are closed. The drought conditions in our area have even made national news. Our neighborhood boat ramp is closed since there is no water, which really shuts down a lake community. But, today it’s raining! And there is rain in the forecast for the next week. I LOVE this weather.
And thinking about showers reminded me that I haven’t shown you pictures of my baby shower from a couple of weeks ago. I seem to always be behind these day in this space and wanted to show you what my sweet friends put together for me.
