It has turned out to be fine. We turned the room that is farthest from the living room into a music/ playroom. When the door is closed you can hear it, but it's not horrible. The boys love it. Mostly they only play "band" when they have friends over and it really is quite hilarious! Your space looks great. I always love seeing the photos of your house. It's all so pretty!
