Sometimes I talk too much, sometimes I like to let the pictures do the talking. We spent Christmas and New Years at home this year. We spent a lot of time cuddled up on the couch by the fire. Last night we did fireworks for the kids. Some made me scream like a girl as they spun around and shot straight towards us. We set off bottle rockets until we realized they were all going towards our neighbors house who lives on the hill above us. It kind of felt like we were invading him by firing upon the castle. We stopped at three. Then we rang in the new year, each one of us asleep on the couch. Until Keegan fell off and that woke us up to count down to 2010.
This morning we are all a little under the weather. This Texas weather, going from 70 degrees to 30 degrees gets the best of us at times. But we didn’t feel so bad that we couldn’t partake in the neighborhood polar dip. ‘We’ meaning my hubby and us standing by as support. To hold the towel, the baby, and take pictures. It was 50 degrees outside and Lake Travis was 56 degrees. This is an annual New Years Day event that has been taking place for 15 years. And those who jump have to sign the scroll and are forever known as the ‘dipsters.’
